1. General Information
1.1. The online orders placed through the eshop of PETROU NUTS S.A. exclusively refer to shipments within Greece. For information regarding shipments abroad please proceed to paragraph 3 of this section.
1.2. Orders are delivered only through working days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays).
1.3. Orders are processed as follows:
Orders registered from Monday to Thursday will be processed on the respective days at 15:00pm.
Orders registered on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be processed every Monday.
Orders registered on official holidays or on the eve of these holidays, will be processed on the next working day.
1.4. Shipments of products are insured based on the policy and terms and conditions of the shipping company where the order is sent. The Company does not send parcels to post office boxes and does not deliver the products to minors or to persons under guardianship, without the written authorization of their parents or guardians.
1.5. The products are delivered to the shipping address you stated in your order via a courier company within 1-10 working days depending on the delivery area and only for shipments within Greece.
1.6. The address stated by the online store user must be real, valid and accurate. The Company does not bear any responsibility for non-delivery or late delivery of products, in case of incorrect delivery address. In case the buyer is absent from the address given or there is a change of information for the address given, the user of the online store is responsible for timely informing the Company, in order that shipment be made to the correct address. Otherwise, s/he will be bear the additional transport costs or the cost of inefficient transport.
1.7. Delivery time of orders may change due to uncertain factors, including, but not limited to, holidays, strikes, bad weather, natural disasters, transportation problems, operational delay of the courier company.
1.8. In the event that the product is not ready for delivery, the order remains pending and a representative of the Company will contact you about the expected time of availability of the product, the case of replacement or the cancellation of the order depending on the possibility of the Company.
1.9. In case of delay in delivery of the product due to the fault of the courier company, the Company is not liable. In case of further fault of the courier company, resulting in product defect, you retain the rights mentioned in the Return and Cancellation Policy.
1.10. Receipt of the products and the customer’s signature on the carrier’s form equates with the acceptance of the order by the customer. 2. Shipments within Greece
The Company provides free shipping costs for destinations WITHIN Greece.
2.1. For destinations within Attica, delivery takes place in the next 3-5 working days from the online order.
2.2. For urban destinations in Mainland Greece and Crete, delivery takes place in the next 3-5 working days from the online order.
2.3. For non urban destinations in Mainland Greece and Crete, delivery takes place in the next 3-6 working days from the online order.
2.4. For island destinations, the delivery takes place in the next 3-8 working days of the online order and depending on the ferry connection.
2.5. For hard-to-reach destinations *, delivery is made in the next 1-10 days from the online order
2.6. The above delivery times do not apply during periods of extreme weather, strikes and in any case of force majeure, which may affect transport times.
* (Hard-to-reach destinations are defined as areas outside the boundaries of the main cities of the Courier Center network.)
3. International Shipments
The eshop of PETROU NUTS S.A. operates exclusively for orders within Greece.
3.1. For shipments to Cyprus, countries of the European Union and non-member countries, you should contact eshop.petrounuts.gr customer service by email at yiasu@petrounuts.gr or phone 2107662212, to be informed about the ordering process and shipping costs. Shipping charges for the above countries vary according to the product transport laws of each country.
3.2. You will first have to check with the competent authorities in your country for any restrictions that may exist on the import of our products. At eshop.petrounuts.gr you can find all the information about our products.
3.3. The Company is not responsible for customs charges that may arise during the shipment of the products.
